Infant Massage

IAIM was established by Vimala McClure in 1976 to help parents and carers introduce the healing and joyful art of massage into their babies lives.

She was the first person to develop an infant massage program using influences from ancient Indian massage, modern Swedish massage and yoga. She developed a blend of outgoing and incoming energy, of tension release and stimulation.

For generations, Mothers all over the world have known that their loving touch and strokes helps sooth, calm and communicate their love to their babies. Science has now proven that massage can do all of that and more.

Infant massage brings both psychological and physical benefits to both parents and babies.

There are now hundreds of IAIM instructors working with parents and carers in over 40 countries around the world bringing Vimalas program into the lives of many families.

Suzy Butler is one of those instructors! She is currently working in the Hove and Brighton area in the UK and also, the Cusco, Piura and Lima regions of Peru where she teaches for 3-4 months a year.
